Arroyo House

Arroyo House is a modern desert residence that responds to the intensity of its climate through simple forms, shaded passages, and a carefully considered material palette. Its crisp white volumes contrast with the surrounding earth tones, while narrow horizontal windows and recessed entrances provide privacy and protection from direct sunlight.

The interior layout is organized around openness, natural ventilation, and access to outdoor living areas. Warm surfaces and carefully positioned glazing soften the minimal architecture, creating bright interiors that remain connected to the rhythms of the desert environment. Every design decision reflects a balance between visual simplicity and practical performance, resulting in a residence that feels contemporary, climate-conscious, and naturally at home in its setting.
